Dr. Yuna Oh is a Doctor of Acupuncture who previously served as an Acupuncture Demonstrator at the U.S. House of Representatives, sharing the practice and benefits of acupuncture in a professional educational setting.

Her journey into medicine began through a deeply personal experience. After witnessing her mother’s difficult battle with pancreatic cancer, Dr. Oh felt called to care for individuals facing pain, illness, and emotional hardship. Wanting to bring comfort, healing, and hope to others, she made the life-changing decision to pursue medicine—even though her original academic background was in Digital Economics.

Driven by this purpose, Dr. Oh completed both her Master of Acupuncture and Doctorate of Acupuncture training. During her clinical education, she completed an externship with Life with Cancer at INOVA Hospital, where she provided acupuncture care and support for family members of cancer patients.

Following graduation, Dr. Oh continued to deepen her training in integrative oncology and evidence-based care. She earned oncology-related certifications from Memorial Sloan Kettering (MSK) Cancer Center and Harvard Medical School(HMS), and also received integrative medicine certification through Jaseng Hospital of Korean Medicine, one of Korea’s most recognized Korean medicine hospitals. She remains deeply committed to ongoing learning and continually studies new approaches to better support her patients’ healing and recovery.

Dr. Oh’s philosophy is grounded in listening genuinely and attentively to every patient’s story. She believes healing begins with understanding. Each patient’s symptoms are carefully evaluated and individually diagnosed, allowing her to create personalized treatment plans tailored to their unique condition and constitution.
